Martyn Injured

Nigel Martyn has become the latest victim of the Leeds injury jinx after limping off the pitch during Leed's game aginst Charlton
The England number two keeper was helped off after 71 minutes of the 3-1 win at Elland Road with what is believed to be a torn groin muscle.

Early reports suggest that the injury will keep Martyn out of action for up to four weeks which will mean that he will miss the massive Champions League games against Besiktas and Barcelona as well as the crunch Premiership clash with Manchester United.

He could even miss the final Group D Champions League date with AC Milan on November 8.

England Under-21 keeper Paul Robinson came on to replace Martyn and will be given his chance to show he is ready to challenge the Leeds number one, with Australian Danny Milosevic stepping onto the bench.

Martyn is the latest in a long line of Elland Road casualties and will join Lucas Radebe (head), Harry Kewell (Achilles), Jason Wilcox (ankle) on the treatment table, with Michael Duberry (Achilles) and David Batty (calf) already ruled out for the rest of the season.
